The hotel sits on a private island. This provided a peaceful escape. I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to San Marco. It ran frequently and made access easy. The rooftop pool was also a highlight. It provided great views.
Check-in took longer than expected. I waited in line for a while. I found the room decor to be a bit sterile for my taste. The boat transfers, while convenient, did require extra planning. This added time to any excursions.
