the location was really something. the hotel overlooks a pretty loch, and there's a lovely front yard with chairs. i spent some time there enjoying a drink at sunset. also , the food was very nice , from breakfast until dinner.
i was disappointed that the refreshment offer in the room was not better. most hotels of this standard have proper tea bags , not just nescafe. i also wished for a better choice , maybe fresh milk. the service was a little mixed , with some great interactions from the local scottish people , and others who did not seem that interested.

i found the staff to be helpful . the refurbished interiors added to a pleasing, restful atmosphere throughout the surroundings. the hotel overlooked a pretty loch, a perfect spot for enjoying a sunset drink in the front yard. i particularly appreciated the spacious roomwith a comfortable bed and a great coffee and tea station.
the gravel in the car park made a bit of noise when cars arrived late at night, and i requested an iron but it took a little while to arrive.

the staff were professional and helpful at all times, always ensuring guest satisfaction. the team displayed a high level of attentiveness. this contributed to a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for all guests, though some communication problems occur!

the food was of good quality, and the dining room offered a relaxed ambience. the breakfast selection was varied, with breads, croissants, and fresh fruit. the chef provided meals cooked beautifully, however food choices were not great!

The hotel boasts elegant decor. The room I occupied was spacious and included a modern bathroom. I appreciated the views from the room (over the sea).
The menu did not change , I would have loved more variety.
