Really good Stay with Quality Amenities

beautiful garden quality food complimentary chocolate tasty breakfast
The gardens are beautiful and the grounds well-kept. The food served in the bar area was of excellent quality. I appreciated the complimentary chocolate provided in the room. Breakfast offered tasty options, and the staff showed great willingness to accommodate.
Service

The staff members were notably friendly and helpful. They were all friendly and offered assistance with any requests I had. The new manager was visible and actively engaged with the team (I thought that was nice).
Dining

The gastropub provided a nice, cozy dining experience. I found the breakfast menu decent, with very good offerings. Dinner was also good, and I dined there a couple of times. (The open house setup for weddings was excellent).
Location

The hotel boasts a unique and quirky charm within the English countryside. Its characteristic structure blends classic rooms with modern bathrooms. The well-decorated interior and beautiful garden provide a picturesque setting. (I noted weddings often take place here).

the gardens were quite nice i must admit.
the room they gave me, a 'grande double', felt surprisingly cheap the carpet seemed like it needed a good scrub and i swear i could smell damp in the corridors it wasn't the luxurious experience i was expecting, especially for the price.

unclean carpet pest control
the breakfast choices were plentiful and well-prepared.
The room was not what i expected for the price i paid. The carpet looked unclean. also, i found several flies in the room upon arrival. The open window likely caused this. i think better pest control is necessary.
