I got an executive double room. It had two bedside tables. the room included complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. i found a hairdryer in the dressing table drawer, that's very handy. there were blackout curtains in the room and they was really effective. the hotel's gym has three treadmills, so i got to run! there was also two stationary bikes for those who like to cycle.

i went to the hotel bar, but i found it a bit busy.

i found a few issues . the spa was not well kept. i noticed many missing tiles in the pool. also, the sauna was far too hot (the temperature gauge read 115 degrees!).

dumfries house was easily accessible, this added convenience to our trip. the room was spacious and quiet, i liked that a lot. the gardens had beautiful, well-kept grounds. the views of the loch were fine.

the restaurant offered a very nice meal with a good choice of food and wine, everything was reasonably priced. staff were friendly and accommodating, attention to detail was excellent! we enjoyed cocktails.

We were welcomed warmly. The staff was friendly and professional. andrew at the front desk provided really good service, going above and beyond, it was quite excellent. there was excellent service from each staff member.

the thermal spa provided a relaxing experience, though the steam room was not open. the hot tub was amazing, it allowed easy access with a low-level design. the decking area included comfortable patio furniture.

the bedroom had clean, lovely decor and provided comfort. we stayed in a waterside lodge, specifically morra, and it was bright and airy. everything had been thoughtfully arranged, and the room was warm! the room included a comfortable bed.
