wonderful anniversary stay

warm welcomeongoing enhancementsfirst class staffmanager interaction
my husband and i celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary at this venue. i recall we got married here when it was the burns monument hotel. the receptionist gave us a warm welcome and showed us the ongoing enhancements. every staff member was first class. david, the manager, chatted with us, a very nice touch, like his staff did.
The only very slight issue was a small stain on the carpet in the hallway. It was hardly noticeable.

Underwhelming Service. Beautiful Building.

good foodfaulty key carddismissive receptionist
The food in the restaurant was quite good, which I suppose is something.
The key card did not work on the fire door leading to my room. Two staff members needed seven attempts to open it! The receptionist was rather dismissive about this. She said there was nothing wrong with the door.

I am grateful for the lovely clean rooms . Beautiful gardens provided a wonderful scenery. Friendly staff showed great customer service . I found it quite nice.
The card opening the fire door gave me much trouble. It needed seven attempts. The door to the adjoining room wasn't locked, I thought it was an oversight. I was not happy with the situation.
