quick resolution professional team warm welcome easy check-in
sarah and cara at reception resolved it quickly. the team is professional for arriving guests.
the main bar felt more like a restaurant. staff focused on dining customers more than creating a resident drinking environment.

the location is beautiful. staff were excellent and friendly. the accommodation was faultless.
i noticed lots of spiders in the bathroom with cobwebs. the shower cubicle was also a little small (i kept hitting the door open while washing).

a haven of peace and quiet
spacious room lovely view kind staff
i really loved our room, a traditional double or twin room. it had lots of space and a lovely view of the countryside. the onsite restaurant staff were kind. walking around the grounds was scenic.
The bathroom shower drain was slow. It needed some attention.

the premises is in a magnificent setting, near a lake. it is even possible to take a nice walk in the hotel grounds. there is also beautiful countryside nearby!

small shower cubicle unclean toilet
I was frustrated with some aspects of my stay. the shower cubicle in the bathroom was small. i kept hitting the door open while washing! there were also many spiders in the bathroom with cobwebs. the toilet needed to be cleaned properly too. I could see it hadn't been cleaned at the bottom of the bowl.

great food fantastic service cute reception
The staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel and food were great. We dined in the restaurant and the food and service were fantastic! especially sarah, neal, and tamara, who assisted us with queries at the spa and pool. kamryn at the reception desk was fantastic. She.

uneven experience, room for improvement
slow service incorrect drink
The bar service disappointed me. drinks sat on the bar for over fifteen minutes. my husband found out after drinking his whisky that they served a different brand than he ordered. also, the breakfast service was a bit strange. The server seemed reluctant and made odd comments. i'd expected more attention to detail, especially after the pricey meal.
