competent staffunreliable wifi signal
the staff seemed competent and the breakfast was alright.
the wifi signal was unreliable, a problem since i needed it for work (imagine that!). it was a hassle, as the hotel's website advertised wifi access.

the building has so much character. breakfast was good and served fast. katrina welcomed me warmly, i appreciated that. i had a great meal nearby at the world's end pub, it was only a quick drive.
the bedroom felt dated. the toilets in the bathroom weren't very clean.

the staff were really helpful. jon even got me a vase plus plant food to keep my roses fresh for the next day. breakfast was very nice with many choices. the hotel gave me easy access to norwich, it was what i needed.
the location was far from everything. this means taxis cost a lot. i wish i had a double bed but got a twin room with single beds instead.
