the location proved very convenient i found the breakfast delicious with high-quality ingredients. my room offered really good comfort and provided a relaxing atmosphere. i especially enjoyed the cheese board its selection included a range of local cheeses.
i noted that the stairs presented a slight challenge when carrying my luggage to the upper floors.

The cooked breakfast was lovely. The staff were professional and friendly. The room had character with beams and a nice riverside view.
I found the superior room lacking character, and it felt a little tired. The double bed was like it was only 4ft wide, uncomfortable, and the pillows needed more stuffing.

the location was quite good (right by the river).
The breakfast was a letdown. I found the coffee terribly weak and the cooked items tasted bland. there were limited options available, and i really expected more from a hotel at this price point. this significantly affected my overall impression.

the hotel's riverside location provided a relaxing atmosphere. i watched barn owls from the restaurant and terrace, it was a unique experience. the restaurant offered fantastic views, i enjoyed them. i had free parking.
the room i had was quite a distance away and on the second floor, there wasn't a lift. this was challenging with luggage.
