We enjoyed dinner. I tried the cured chalkstream trout. my wife selected butternut squash and chestnut soup. both dishes were quite tasty and generous. our main course consisted of a fish pie with winter greens. We shared it. the pie featured well-seasoned seafood and creamy mashed topping with crispy bits. wine was both good and reasonably priced.
The breakfast was slightly disappointing. the fresh fruit selection was limited to apples, oranges, and one banana. yogurt and pastries were unavailable. This was not clearly indicated.

the room included plenty of tea bags and free water. the room was very clean too. i found parking onsite very convenient. the room offered a great quay view.
the stairs to the rooms were narrow.

I was frustrated with a couple of issues . The advertised parking was limited, and I had trouble finding a spot each night. It forced me to park down the street, a real inconvenience. the room service menu was surprisingly limited. It lacked variety and several items I wanted were not available. What a disappointment!!!
