fantastic river view room!

i was really happy with the room , it had a big window facing the river. the room was a beautiful double room. i found some nice touches , including proper coffee and fresh milk. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

the hotel boasts a museum showcasing shipbuilding activities right on site. i particularly enjoyed the open log fires in the bars (it created a very cozy atmosphere). the breakfast selection was ample.
the kettle lead in my room was quite short, causing the kettle to tip when pulling out its platform.

The hotel's location beside the river allows for wonderful walks. Dogs are not just welcome, but also catered to in all areas, including the room. Breakfasts impressed me every morning. I especially appreciated the selection. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful.
The menu selection could have been slightly larger.

I appreciated the hotel's location right on the river. Several smaller rooms allowed for relaxation and drinks. I found the staff to be friendly and polite .
I must say I was disappointed about my chicken schnitzel. It was burnt when it arrived. I had to cope, but wished the food was prepared better.

i enjoyed the breakfast buffet it had many options. the staff was friendly and helpful with directions. the henry's bar had a good selection of drinks and food.
the bathroom seemed dated the shower lacked a curtain causing water spillage. my room was located above the generators this caused significant noise throughout the night. i wasn't informed about the wedding taking place affecting hotel access.
