i enjoyed the traditional aspects of the hotel. the evening meal was delicious and the breakfast was a proper full scottish one. the charming pub had great beers brewed on site.
the floorboards in my room were noticeably squeaky.

the standard double room had a good size bed that was very comfortable. a nice hot shower was available. the area was quiet, which ensured a good night's sleep.
