wonderful stay at the lodge!
clean suite spacious balcony
i stayed in a two-bedroom suite lake view. the suite was gigantic and sparkling clean!!! the balcony was just right for a sundowner.

cozy atmosphere complimentary bikes plush robes hotel shuttle
I adored the cozy atmosphere. It felt so intimate. the complimentary bikes offered a sweet way to explore. our suite was stocked with lovely amenities like plush robes, and the heated bathroom floors felt dreamy. the hotel shuttle made getting around easy and stress-free. i enjoyed these.
The minibar was not stocked. It lacked even basic snacks. this was a minor inconvenience.

Lakeside Retreat Experience
shuttle service lakeside location on-site sauna delicious food
The provided shuttle to the village saved much time. The lakeside location offers great views. I found the sauna on-site. The restaurant food tasted delicious, and I very much enjoyed the taster menu I had. I also appreciated how close the hotel is to the Valley Trail.
My room had no minibar. Tap water was only available. This was not ideal.

The accommodation included two bedrooms and wonderful bathrooms. Rooms were large and comfortable. A Dyson hair dryer was available in the bathroom. This was a nice touch. A gas fireplace added warmth.

On-site food and restaurant choices met expectations. I tried the pop-up cheese fondue in the Fix Café. It was the best cheese fondue ever. The lounge is good after dinner. Staff offered excellent service and attention.

The hotel overlooks the lake. The views were fine. Complimentary canoes and kayaks were available for use on the lake. Bikes were available for riding on the valley trail. The setting is picturesque and quaint.

slow service untrained staff
The restaurant service was slow. getting drinks took about 15 minutes each time. Once, the food arrived first. it was a burned flatbread. the staff seemed untrained and wandered aimlessly. It was frustrating and expensive!! the poor service really impacted my stay.
