the arrival welcome impressed me greatly. the location supported my UK road trip plans perfectly. the spacious rooms provided enough space. the sublime restaurant offered delicious evening meals, i appreciate that.
the tea and coffee available in the room seemed rather OLD fashioned, i believe this could be updated.

the hotel provides parking directly at the rear, a VERY useful feature. the dining room evoked a feeling of history, i like that. the hotel offers room service, that i found quick.

The location provides very easy access to the castle. I found a good menu with daily specials on offer. Staff seemed friendly and very helpful. Wifi also worked well .
Pancake at breakfast tasted like it had been microwaved. There was no fruit option for breakfast that morning. I was hoping for a more diverse selection of breakfast choices.

The central location provided easy access to local attractions. accessible parking at the back of the building was very convenient. i found the breakfast excellent. It offered a good start to the day.
the town bell chimed loudly every hour until late. it then started again early in the morning, right across from the building. my room lacked a bedside lamp and it could have been useful. the tea and coffee selection in the room felt a bit dated.
