warm welcome ideal location spacious rooms delicious meals
the arrival welcome impressed me greatly. the location supported my UK road trip plans perfectly. the spacious rooms provided enough space. the sublime restaurant offered delicious evening meals, i appreciate that.
the tea and coffee available in the room seemed rather OLD fashioned, i believe this could be updated.

the hotel provides parking directly at the rear, a VERY useful feature. the dining room evoked a feeling of history, i like that. the hotel offers room service, that i found quick.

staff members like ed were very helpful during check in. the laughter emanating from the kitchen created a relaxing atmosphere, ideal after a difficult event. breakfast was excellent, i rated it highly.

uncomfortable bed old fashioned tea
The breakfast was good and included fresh ingredients.
I encountered a few issues . The bed was not comfortable, and I found it difficult to sleep well. the tea and coffee provided in the room seemed a bit old fashioned.

easy access friendly staff fruit option microwave pancake
The location provides very easy access to the castle. I found a good menu with daily specials on offer. Staff seemed friendly and very helpful. Wifi also worked well .
Pancake at breakfast tasted like it had been microwaved. There was no fruit option for breakfast that morning. I was hoping for a more diverse selection of breakfast choices.

central location accessible parking excellent breakfast loud chimes missing lamp dated selection
The central location provided easy access to local attractions. accessible parking at the back of the building was very convenient. i found the breakfast excellent. It offered a good start to the day.
the town bell chimed loudly every hour until late. it then started again early in the morning, right across from the building. my room lacked a bedside lamp and it could have been useful. the tea and coffee selection in the room felt a bit dated.
