underwhelming stay in an old building
locked door low shower
the breakfast had loads of choice and excellent quality.
i had problems entering the hotel as there was nobody to open the locked door. i spent 5 mins banging and pressing the bell, even asking for help from a nearby restaurant. i was then shown to a room with no garden view as promised, a door didn't fully open, and a shower was too low. the shower also had no hot water on my final day, annoying.

cute staff excellent breakfast quaint aesthetic limited hot water shower quality
the staff was attentive. the overall aesthetic was quaint and charming, and breakfast was excellent. i found the room spacious and well furnished. the included breakfast was a treat.
The bathroom and shower were not what i expected. the hot water seemed to run out during my shower. It was not cold, but not hot. the water pressure could have been better as well.

delicious breakfast attentive staff lack of elevator thin walls
the breakfast was delicious with a nice variety to choose from! the staff were very attentive. i felt charmed by their warmth.
the hotel did not have an elevator, and i had to navigate a lot of stairs. i also noticed very thin walls, easy to hear noise from other rooms.

low shower pressure street noise
the breakfast was good, i found the staff to be lovely.
The room i booked online did not match the room i was given. It felt smaller and less appealing than the photos suggested. there were some maintenance issues. The shower pressure was very low, and one of the bedside lamps wasn't working. also, the noise from the street at night made it difficult to sleep well, even with the windows closed.
