adequate stay with some issues
empty carafe neglected garden
i was not happy with the lack of coffee availability, despite being told it was 24/7. when i went down at 6am, the coffee carafe was empty. also, the outside garden needed attention, and i wasn't inviting to sit and relaxed there.

adequate but flawed
small wash basin neglected garden
I had a couple of issues . the wash basin felt very small. plus, i found it difficult to get coffee early in the morning. It wasn't available as advertised. the outside garden also seemed neglected, and it wasn't really a place where i wanted to spend time. the breakfast setup felt cramped with too few tables.

inconsistent stay
sterile room dirty curtains
the location was convenient near the tram line.
The room felt quite sterile. there was a small wash basin without a cabinet that gave a hospital vibe. the cleanliness could have been better. The curtains were dirty.

coffee experience stay
helpful staff great location tram stop
i found the staff to be very accommodating. sergio at the front desk was especially helpful, i really appreciated his support. the location was great, being directly across from the tram 28 stop was a major plus for getting around.
The room i was in faced the street, and it was quite noisy. Noise canceling earbuds became necessary. It might be better to request a room in the back if noise is a concern

the hotel offers easy access to public transport. the number 28 tram stops right in front of the building, i really appreciated that. it makes sightseeing simple and convenient.

Breakfast had an excellent spread, i enjoyed the variety of options. complimentary coffee was available in the lobby all day, i definitely took advantage of that. the hotel is newly refurbished. The condition is very good.

the staff were good and attentive, i found this to be consistently true. they offer a takeaway breakfast for early departures, i thought that was a thoughtful touch. mr lopes and the front desk team were helpful!

the room i had was spacious and super clean! it was also attended to daily. the beds had great linens, i appreciated that. it helped was good, though the lighting controls were a bit odd.
