great stay in southern spain
great photo opportunities decent size
The location had amazing sunrise and sunset photo opportunities. the staff were polite and attentive throughout my stay. the room was immaculate and a decent size. i appreciated the relaxed breakfast with a sufficient selection. The restaurant's dinner was excellent and well presented.

the hotel sits on a hilltop. it offers great views across the surrounding area. the position above the historic town provides a unique setting. getting to the town requires a short car trip.

A Balanced Stay at the Hotel
big room excellent location cafe menu terrace dinner
The room was big. It includes all the facilities I needed. The hotel location was excellent when I finally found it. I was told there are three signs around the town indicating the hotel location.
I wrongly assumed you could have dinner on the terrace. It gives you a good view of the city. This was not possible. Only drinks and a cafe menu were available.

Underwhelming Stay Despite Potential
weak shower noisy metal frame
The winding road to the hotel felt isolating. The restaurant's late opening at 8:30 PM made dining inconvenient. There were no robes provided in the room and the shower pressure was weak. The metal frame outside the window caused a horrible noise all night due to wind.

adequate stay
good size double sinks dinner reservation racist behavior
the hotel rooms are a good size. there are double bathroom sinks. the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant is very comfortable.
i asked a staff member about dinner reservations. he said no reservation was needed for tonight. another staff member later said no tables were available until 10pm.

majestic views modern facilities reasonable price helpful staff
The location had majestic views across the valleys. The building integrates modern facilities into an authentic castle. The dinner impressed me at a reasonable price. The staff helped a lot with limited Spanish.
