uncomfortable bedmouldy shower
The "beautiful double room" i got faced the back (a courtyard view, specifically). the room felt dated, reminding me of a budget holiday camp back in the 70s. the bed was uncomfortable, with insufficient pillows. A green light from the emergency lighting shone through the glass in the door. i spotted some mold in the shower, disappointing (i really hoped for better).

super sea views and fantastic food!

I was thrilled to see familiar faces among the staff. Their professional and friendly service really makes a difference. the food was excellent. Both the quality and variety exceeded my expectations. the sea view from my room was an unexpected highlight. It was a joy to wake up to it each morning.

The hotel is situated near the solway firth and it has fine views across the bay. It is easily accessible from the motorway and that makes travel convenient. the area around the hotel is perfect for outdoor activities like bird watching and beach walks. a golf course is near the hotel.

Staff members are attentive and polite offering a professional service. I saw that they were keen to help guests and provide assistance whenever needed. the team is helpful with gluten free options. This ensures all dietary needs are met. i found the staff cute.

The room was large and airy. The bathroom features a powerful shower. amenities such as a balcony allow to enjoy the beautiful view. the bedroom radiator can be adjusted and the window can be opened.

relaxing stay with golf course views

Room number one included its own balcony facing the water and the golf course. i enjoyed a superb evening meal. I had chicken and beef that night. breakfast offered plenty of options. the location had great walking routes to explore.
the bathroom light shined a bit too bright at night it made the room not very dark.

the restaurant had a good selection of wines and spirits. the breakfast had obvious quality ingredients it was very tasty. the evening meals were good, with a diverse menu for multiple nights.

electric car chargers were available behind the hotel which was convenient. comfortable public areas were provided, including a coffee cafe. the hotel also offers views over the golf course and the solway.

the check in process was friendly and informative upon my arrival. staff members were lovely and very accommodating ensuring all needs were met. one employee, caitlan, provided superb customer service, was knowledgeable, and very people friendly .
