serene bunker bay escape
superb experience attentive service
the accommodation offered a superb experience. breakfast included an excellent selection of food and drinks, catering to every taste. i especially valued the attentive service and the spacious room.
the walk from our villa to the reception area was lengthy, especially the uphill return.

check-in included a warm welcome. attentive staff provided a glass of bubbles upon arrival. a bottle of bubbles plus a fruit platter were delivered, celebrating a special birthday.

the location allows a short walk across the boardwalk. it led to bunker bay beach. the surrounding bush features much bird watching. it is good.

breakfast offered an excellent food choice. larger groups seemed to be seated away from smaller groups. dinner included delicious food plus service. it came with a birthday dessert.

beach access gym equipment filthy floor hotel updating
i was pleased the location allowed access to bunker bay directly from the resort. i found the staff very helpful and friendly especially with the spa services and massages. the breakfast offering was great. the gym included good equipment.
i found the floors of the balcony off the main restaurant filthy and in need of cleaning. birds made a terrible mess on my balcony i had to request cleaning. the hotel seemed tired and in need of updating and cleaning.

the villa featured a king bed that was comfortable. breakfast had a large selection of options. the pool view was fine overlooking a private beach.
the carpark was a fair way from the villa.

underwhelming stay due to several issues
slow service mediocre buffet
the room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, this was disappointing. i also found the service to be quite slow, probably due to understaffing. the breakfast buffet was mediocre. It was nothing special and definitely not worth the price i paid.

a seaside embrace
easy access fresh bedding
the location allowed us easy beach access. full service was provided, including cleaning, fresh bedding, and towel service (a treat after sandy days). i found the restaurant food reasonably priced. i savored excellent cocktail choices with attentive service.
i noticed that the modification policy lacked flexibility. upon arrival, one villa was infested with ants (apparently, the next customers had to move as well). this caused an unnecessary inconvenience at the start of our getaway.

restaurant staff were attentive and always greeted guests with a smile. staff responded promptly to requests (such as extra towels or pillows) and always addressed me by name. i observed a genuine desire to ensure every guest felt valued and cared for.
