The views of skye's mountains were unbelievably beautiful. Staff were attentive, and a warm cute ambience WAS noticeable. I relaxed into my stay at the bar and in the private guest honesty lounge. The rooms felt spacious, luxurious, and rooms 1 and 2 HAVE great views.

My bedroom felt FAR too small, and i had to 'sachet around' my partner. Only one person could move about at a time. I did not receive enough drinking water for my hot drinks. The shower room lacked comfort because of restricted space.

the welcome drink was very lovely. personally, they showed us around the hotel and took us right to our room. the lounge and honesty bar feel like a really nice touch. our queen room felt so tastefully decorated and homely.

I did notice lack of staff. This can cause a little wait at reception.

Breakfast included a delicious scottish option. It started each day perfectly. i loved the 3-course dinner menu served at the hotel restaurant. every dish felt carefully crafted and tasted amazing.

Views from the room overlooked the isle of skye. It looked majestic. the hotel offers a remote, quiet location perfect to unwind. nature surrounds everything.

The staff was super friendly and eager to explain about the distillery. i felt that they are proud to work there. Their passion shined. i appreciate that the hotel refunded the prebooked tour. That showed integrity.

The room felt too small, i had difficulty moving around. the bed also wasn't large enough for two people. The duvet barely covered the mattress. i even burned myself on the heated towel rail in the cramped shower room, i reported this to reception but nothing happened. there wasn't enough drinking water provided either.
