I was charmed by the quick check-in. The staff was efficient. My room had a complete kitchen area. It was easy to prepare meals. The proximity to theaters was really good. I walked everywhere.

The location is indeed quite special. broadway and times square are just around the corner. the big bus hop-on-hop-off bus stop and the subway are minutes away. the hotel seems to have character. The 1930s foyer carries its theme into the rooms. the bathroom stands out especially.
The room became noisy at times. sounds traveled from outside. the air conditioner contributed. The staff at reception seemed unwelcoming at times? they was annoyed when i requested a quieter room. they smugly mentioned we were in manhattan.

the location was genuinely amazing, so close to everything (wow!). the staff had such pleasant and cheerful personalities. our room, a 2x queen double one bedroom, included everything we needed. it had a cooker, coffee machine, microwave, fridge freezer, and a dining table.
connecting to the wifi reminded me of a real chore with too many steps and requests for my information. the cleaning in my room wasn't done very well. also, the street noise at night was super loud, i could barely sleep.
