peeling wallpaperscuffed headboard
I found some issues . Our 'Double Room' was not well-kept. I spotted plaster falling off a wall and wallpaper peeling in another place. The headboard also had many marks, it looked scuffed. A better cleaning and maintenance would help.

the breakfast buffet offered many options. the staff promptly addressed any needs i had, which i appreciated! the hotel's location near the river provided easy access to walking paths. i also found the parking facilities very convenient.
The room had a very slight musty smell on arrival. I think airing it out would help.

The bathroom was quite small. It was difficult to move. only one towel was provided. This was insufficient. the room felt hot and the windows did not open enough to improve ventilation.

i found green and black chocolate bars provided, that was a nice touch. the bed was quite comfy. the staff were very helpful and friendly!
there was an event at the pub across the street, it was a bit loud during the evening.

I found the en-suite bathroom clean. It had a good supply of soaps and moisturiser. water, tea, and coffee were provided in the room, along with biscuits.
our room looked very tired. plaster was coming off in one place and wallpaper was peeling off in another.

The breakfast had very good choices. The bed was comfortable and provided nice quality bed linen. The bathroom was also well-appointed and clean. I appreciated the picturesque setting right by the river, a cute sight after a long journey.
The menu lacked some inspiration and the food was average pub fare. I found the location remote and the nearby town offered little of interest.
