the room was renovated. the beautiful room had everything i needed for comfort. the bed linen was good. i also had a tub in the bathroom.
i found the shampoo and conditioner bottles impossible to open on two mornings. i had to immerse them in a cup of boiling water to finally succeed. paying £4 for a bowl of porridge with blueberries also seemed excessive. other cereals were included in the breakfast menu..

the location is convenient, right next to kensington gardens.
My arrival was not smooth as the room was not ready. i had to move rooms twice, a rather stressful experience. the communication was also poor. A receptionist disclosed a surprise i had planned for my partner, frustrating after my careful arrangements.

The location is convenient for walks to Kensington Gardens. I found nearby public transport very accessible. The staff provided me with all necessities . I am thankful for the swift assistance from housekeeping.
It created noticeable delays. The room felt a bit small. Space was tight for two people. I did not expect this in a hotel of this level.
