Fantastic Stay in Mayfair!
consistent architecture relaxed atmosphere attentive staff world-class dining
I was impressed with the consistent architectural details throughout the hotel. The hotel presents a modern and relaxed atmosphere that many appreciate. The staff were attentive. The restaurant called Dovetail provided world-class dining, and I particularly enjoyed the beef carpaccio.
I noticed a slight delay when waiting for the valet to bring the car back.

mixed feelings at this hotel
inadequate shelving unexpected charge
my room lacked adequate shelving. It was stylish but not practical. i also noticed an unexpected service charge on my bill without prior notice i felt pressured.

balcony view awkward outlet
the doormen were consistently attentive, a positive.
The skyline terrace room was disappointing. The only view was of adjacent balconies. the manager insisted it was a nice room, which i found alarming. additionally, there were no outlets in the bathroom, so using an electric shaver or curling iron was awkward.
