A Charming Stay

The dinner service was wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic. There were lots of little lovely touches, like the lamps and radio were turned on when we arrived, and a little welcome note from housekeeping greeted us.. it made it really cosy. The toiletries in the bathroom were nice, and the bathroom was lovely and spacious.
The hotel has been modernised, but carpets in the stairs and reception area looked worn.

i stayed for two nights and found the staff consistently helpful, particularly with directions. the room was clean, and the bed provided great comfort. i also found that the provided toiletries added a touch of quality to my stay. ample free parking was available, a feature i definitely value (it made everything easier).
A very minor issue was the slight noise from the corridor early in the morning. it did not greatly affect my overall stay.
