charming hotel experience

the staff was efficient and polite upon our arrival. the manager ensured things ran smoothly, a detail i noticed. the food i had was excellent, especially off the christmas menu.

i did experience some noise from passing pedestrians, which affected my sleep.

the room offered tea and coffee facilities. a hairdryer. it also included an iron and was very quiet at night. the room looked out on the lawn courtyard with views of hills in the distance.

i stayed in a superior double room! it had a coffee machine with plenty of supplies! also there were extras like a radio and dominoes! the dressing area was excellent too.

It was a little noisy early one morning. Someone emptied bottle bins outside my window, which i had to keep open.

i did request a quiet room. an external fan ran all night. it disturbed my sleep.
