friendly staff great recommendation limited menu cold area
the staff were very friendly. the leaflet with walks around the hotel proved helpful, and i found great recommendations for things to do.
the menu seemed limited. the burger i ordered was well cooked. but the bar area felt cold despite getting as close to the fire as possible, punctuation misplaced

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
cold breakfast room unpleasant pricing structure
The room included some products that was clean.
The breakfast room was cold and there was little meet and greet from management. I did order a pint and a half and they charged me like two pints. They also charge £5.10 for a pint of Brooklyn IPA but £3.50 for a half.

nice stay
excellent food lamb sirloin friendly staff helpful staff
the food was excellent i had a pistachio lamb sirloin steak cooked perfectly it was comparable to a michelin star restaurant the customer service was also very good i appreciated the dog goody bag upon arrival the staff were friendly and helpful offering walking routes from reception
i found the breakfast setup a bit unusual a cooked breakfast was unavailable until 10.30am which conflicted with my departure time it was difficult to clean my teeth after vacating the room

the location offered amazing views from the window and beer garden it was peaceful a spacious beer garden allowed relaxation while scenery viewing local gifts were available for purchase at reception providing convenient souvenir shopping

my room was very clean it had amazing views towards windermere i noticed dog blankets and toys were available for use in the room the hotel felt homely and cute ensuring a restful environment after a long day

the beer garden offered fine views of the troutbeck valley it was spacious perfect for enjoying a few pints the bar area also provides a pleasant atmosphere for evening meals or drinks with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders available

the staff made me feel super welcome from check in to evening all were very pleasant and ready to assist with any needs tommy at reception ensured we knew to ask if we required anything promising to make our stay as pleasant as possible
