The building shows interesting history. the rooms had tasteful furnishings. i appreciated the lovely, natural setting of the spa. the staff was helpful. They ensured a ramp was in place for my partner in a wheelchair.

the building has sixteenth-century architecture and well kept grounds. the team handled a business event effectively, including the events coordinator, reception staff, and bar personnel. their professionalism made the evening successful, and the entire staff contributed positively.

The hotel features extensive grounds for walks and exploration. It gives opportunities for relaxation. the building is fabulously historic and fully operational. i found the gym to be a good size. the location was perfect! though the parking was expensive.

i stayed in a classic double room for two nights the room included a television and coffee making facilities. the bathroom featured complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels.
the corridor carpet showed some wear near the elevator.

The concierge service stood out. Dave was very cute and showed us around the hotel. He explained how to get around (it is a big place!). The lavish decor and historical grounds added a special charm to my stay.
My experience with the spa had some disappointments. The sauna was not as clean as I expected. Some furniture around the pool area showed significant wear. The spa cafe was reportedly poor quality and expensive (according to other guests).
