the location worked WELL. it was close to a metro station, i think the blue line. the breakfast was also quite nice. i appreciated the variety of food options available each morning.
the room's temp controls were a little tricky. it took a few tries to get them right. i found the tub a bit high. i had some problems with my key, it did not work every time i tryed to enter the room.

the breakfast was sufficient and high quality. the breakfast area felt comfortable and cozy. i appreciated the spa facility after a tiring trip where the massage was very nice. the cleanliness of the room and bathroom stood out positively.
i noticed the gym and sauna were not fully functional. when i reported the problem, the hotel provided excuses instead of addressing it. i found their response to this failure disappointing.

the room had two bedside tables and individual reading lights. the bathroom featured a walk-in shower with adjustable water pressure. the temperature control was effective the blackout curtains created a dark sleep environment.

Breakfast offered sufficient choices and the food tasted good. The spa facility was also nice after a tiring trip.
The hotel smelled of drains, which gave it an unsanitary feeling. The decor was also quite dark and depressing for me.

faulty key
The key NEVER worked. Each time I entered the room, I had to go down to get the key card reprogrammed. The restaurant staff were generally inattentive and I sat there for ages several nights trying to get attention. I asked for a simple G&T and was shocked when the bill came. It was 42 euros for 2 drinks!
