the location is excellent, just across from the main bus and tram station. this provided cheap and easy access from the airport. the breakfast offerings were excellent with a vast selection of food. the staff provided attentive, kindly service.
the hotel needs to address its centrally controlled air conditioning system. my room was unbelievably warm, while the corridors were cool. despite raising the issue, the only solution was a small fan. it made little difference.

the room i got felt pretty small. they call it a superior room but it sure didn't feel like it. the tv only has norwegian channels, just great when you don't speak the language. i also missed having a safe to lock up important stuff. the staff seemed a bit indifferent, especially when i mentioned a problem or two.

The breakfast had a huge selection of food. It catered to many tastes. a terrace on the floor provided panoramic city views. the hotel's location is a short walk from most attractions.

The hotel provides easy access to the main bus and tram station which is beneficial for airport transfers. The bergen railway station is also a short walk away. a shopping center is nearby.

The breakfast staff was attentive. i felt at ease in the busy restaurant. on one occasion i asked for coffee and was told i would have to pay, though this was eventually resolved after speaking with the receptionist.
