Excellent Stay!
fresh juicecomfortable bedexcellent lighting
I found the breakfast amazing. I liked the fresh orange juice and the selection of cheeses. The hotel had gluten free options, which I really needed. The room came with a mini bar that worked as a fridge. It also included a good coffee pot. The comfortable bed and good lighting made the room great!
The bathtub in my room was elevated. It had high sides. This made it a little difficult to get in and out. A sign warned about the slippery tub since it lacked non-skid surfacing, though they didn't include a rubber bath mat!

The reception staff provided excellent assistance. The hotel offers 24-hour Nespresso coffee. They also had an ice machine, a rare and useful amenity in a European hotel. I found it awesome.

the breakfast buffet had extensive options and fresh ingredients. i found many choices from fried eggs to roasted vegetables. the hotel location was very convenient, just a short walk to the waterfront. (it was great for exploring the area!)
the room lacked temperature control (i found this odd). the bathroom was quite small with an rv-style shower.

The breakfast offered a broad selection of items! breads, meats, cheeses and many types of egg dishes were available. the location provided easy access to shopping and the funicular. It was very convenient. the light rail from the airport stopped close to the hotel. It was about a 10 mins walk.
the gym was quite small.

the hotel sits just behind the bryggen near the port area. the hotel has a contemporary feel. the efficient front desk operation soon had us in our corner room with a large curved bay window overlooking the waterfront. the room was well equipped with everything we required.
i noted the bathtub in our room was elevated with high sides , thus it was difficult to get in and out of.
