charming stay close to the pantheon

the location is definitely a plus. the breakfast buffet included fresh pastries. the rooftop bar provided amazing views of the surrounding area. i benefited from a superior room at the front of the building, with front windows.
The soundproofing was not completely effective. I could hear noise from adjacent rooms.

breakfast had many options, i appreciated that. staff promptly cleaned the room whenever i left, i found that efficient.
I am not quite sure why people keep recommending this hotel other than its iconic location. the hotel desk was nice enough but not super helpful in any way. for example, there was no offer to help with bags. I also had medication that needed to be kept cold and they didn't seem to care or want to help.

the room i got faced an inner courtyard so the view was basically a brick wall i paid extra for a supposed 'beautiful' experience but i'm not sure what was beautiful about staring at bricks i suppose the breakfast buffet was acceptable for the price but the pastries tasted suspiciously like they came from a supermarket not exactly the culinary experience i was hoping for
