friendly staff great location stained bedclothes disappointing service
the staff were very friendly. the room was also nice. it had great location.
my husband split red wine on the bed. the bed was remade with the stained bedclothes. this was very disappointing

amazing stay!
lovely room warm staff amazing breakfast
i stayed in the victorian building across the road and the room was lovely! breakfast and dinner in the main hotel were amazing. the staff was genuinely warm, especially breata. i look forward to my return trip soon!
The website photos did not match my room at all. It faced the back car park. the bathroom felt outdated and small with very poor shower pressure. i only had one pillow available too.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They resolved a stuck sash window quickly when i mentioned it at dinner. they offered shopping tips, discount cards, and directions. their singing of happy birthday to a guest was great too!

Solid Stay with Excellent Amenities
free parking comfortable bed quiet atmosphere
The free parking was very convenient and easily accessible. The bed provided great comfort, ensuring a restful night. I also appreciated the clean and quiet atmosphere of the room, it was great.
Accessing the room from the main street felt a bit unusual and detached from the main hotel amenities. I prefer internal access to reception. It enhances the overall hotel experience.

The location provided easy access. Shops, museums, and dining options were convenient. Taxis were readily available near the square. A free shuttle to the Horse Racetrack was also available nearby.

The restaurant provided excellent meals. The menu offered many choices. The service was consistently fast. The adjoining pub had a lively atmosphere, and even showed American football one evening.

The room was a good size. It was furnished with bedside cabinets and lamps. The bathroom featured a walk-in shower, with a 'telephone' attachment. the room was great for a short stay.

A Charmed Stay!
convenient location thoughtful touches modern bathroom spacious layout
I found the hotel location very convenient. It offered easy access to local attractions, which I just loved! The room included bottled water and a fan. I did appreciate the modern bathroom with a spacious layout.
Street noises did filter into the room late at night. This made falling asleep somewhat difficult, but it was manageable.

the shower was nice and spacious..

large room hotel parking street noise quiet room
i stayed in a large room. parking was available on the hotel premises which i found helpful. the location was central to the town.
i was a bit disappointed as the room i had requested to be quiet ended up facing the main street. the street noise continued until 4.00 am. it really impacted my sleep.
