friendly staffspacious roomgenerous portions
The staff was friendly and accommodating. my room was very spacious with comfy beds. the food was very nice and fresh. The portions were generous. i was blown away by the quality and quantity for breakfast. It included full english, tea, coffee, juices, and cereals.

the breakfast was acceptable, though unremarkable.
I found the noise levels unacceptable. I was disturbed by music playing until late, and i found it difficult to sleep. this is not what i expect for the price i paid, and i insist on a quieter environment. i found the thin walls a significant problem.

a cosy retreat
delicious saladexcellent foodfresh vegetables
the prawn salad was delicious and the chips were great i enjoyed the steak and ale pie it had big bits of steak. the fresh cooked vegetables were also good the pub restaurant had excellent food people queued for a table it was very busy.
the access roads are quite narrow.

the setting is lovely and quiet the inn is easily accessible and it is also not too far from the town it had a perfect location for a stop over.

The food choices were GREAT, with lots of options, and they sourced everything locally. I can recommend the fillet steak dinner. It was AMAZING!!! Breakfast included tea, coffee, juices, and cereals.

The team are WONDERFUL, attentive, and friendly and are always happy to help. The genial host was interesting to chat with and again very helpful. He really cared about the guests. He's a super landlord.

The room had a huge television. All the staff were very friendly and cute. I found the English breakfast excellent (I especially liked the sausages).
The room was drab. The bedding felt sticky, a bit unpleasant. I noticed noise through the walls from other rooms' televisions.
