the room had homemade biscuits and complementary soft drinks. the location felt close to everything (i didn't need to drive much). the room presentation was lovely. it all felt really special.
the food in the pub could have been better. i thought the selection was limited. the service there was a bit slow.

i loved the room size. the outside japanese tub was excellent, clean, warm and very private. check in was easy, all facilities i needed for a nights stay were available.
food in pub was ok but could have been better. i think it could improve.

difficult location mediocre meal
the room was stylish. it was very tidy.
the location proved a little difficult to find. my gps gave me trouble. also the evening meal at the pub did not fully meet expectations.

i stayed in a beautiful double room balcony and it had a hot tub. the hot tub stayed on the whole time! the room had complimentary soft drinks, a nice touch.

luxury room homemade shortbread
the room had calming luxury! the coffee machine had homemade shortbread. refreshments were complimentary in the fridge. the adjoining pub, the bowling green, offered fantastic food at reasonable prices. the staff were amazing and a real team.
