a stay with shortcomings
rushed servicecleared plates
The sunday lunch i booked was quite a letdown. It felt rushed. we were seated in the function room away from everyone else and were hurried to order. after the main course, our plates sat uncleared and no one offered us dessert. I had to fetch drinks myself. the rushed service and lack of attention, not a valued guest.

the housekeeper done a excellent job, and the walking shower was really useful.
the sunday check in was at 3pm but i then get told no more food orders after 3.30pm.

lovely stay!
delicious foodcomfortable roomgreat staff
it was a pleasant surprise to see the table decorated with balloons and banners upon arrival for our special lunch. the food tasted delicious, and the staff presented the cake with candles while singing. i also liked that the large comfortable rooms were near stanwick lakes.
the loud buzzing noise from the air conditioning every few minutes made it hard to sleep. even after we switched it off, it continued all night.

The gardens and grounds are attractive. They are well maintained, i saw. the hotel has a nice proximity to the village and offers a pleasant environment for walks and relaxation. This is nice. the restaurant looked very pretty.

The staff was friendly and cute, i noted. the breakfast service was available and very good, i can confirm. the staff ensured i could enjoy my stay. They were always very helpful. they replenished the room facilities the next day.

I was able to walk in the local nearby park every morning before breakfast. This was great! the hotel is near stanwick lakes and other local attractions. it is set in a beautiful setting.
