seafront locationobstructed viewscaffolding
the location was near the seafront. (that's always a plus)
the room i booked had scaffolding outside the window, obscuring the view. i wasn't told about this when i booked and it was quite disappointing.

The breakfast was comprehensive. It included a wide variety of hot and cold items. The staff were very attentive during breakfast service (i liked that). My room had a nice desk. It was perfect for working. The bed was comfortable. I slept well each night.
The gym equipment was quite dated. It had an old treadmill. The air conditioning unit in my room was very loud. I found it hard to sleep with it running. The hotel bar closed rather early (around 10 PM). This limited my options for a nightcap.
