the estate is beautiful. i found the grounds and views to be fantastic. the food in the terrace restaurant was of top quality. i also enjoyed the walks through the woods and lakes.
the arrival was confusing. i found that the signage was unclear, unfortunately! the room was dark with just three lamps. i thought the staff in the terrace bar were ill informed and showed little interest.

the location was good. (it had potential)
i booked a table at samuel's restaurant for 8:15 pm, but the service was slow. the starters arrived fine, but by 9:30 pm, other couples who arrived later had already received their main courses. my fish arrived without the french fries i ordered.

The bar area of the Terrace restaurant was unpleasant (it was not what I expected). I could hear arguments between waiting staff and bar staff. They were so busy bickering that we were not offered another drink.
