Our room offered a comfortable bed and good storage. I found this very helpful. The bedroom's windows provided pleasing airflow, wonderful during a hot spell. The staff was friendly and efficient, genuinely interested in guests. I especially enjoyed the tea garden. It was attractive and spacious.
The stairs up to my room were a little steep, but I managed by turning sideways.

There was some noise from the coffee shop. I could hear people working and talking in the morning. This was a small issue.

The television in the room below was too loud. I could hear talking during the night, and their television was on when I woke up this morning (it was a little annoying). I understand that the hotel could do nothing about this issue, but it did affect my stay.

Helen and phil. the breakfast was superb. i especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs, so light and fluffy. the cottage is a peaceful place, perfect for recharging. I can definitely recommend it.
the room was a little basic. the sink in the bathroom drained slowly.
