friendly staff ample parking
the staff were friendly and helpful at check in. the continental breakfast had toast and fruit so i had a light meal before leaving. i also had ample parking near a nice garden space.
i noticed the bed was not high quality with a cheap mattress. there were also signs indicating rules throughout the hotel which was a bit off-putting.

the location offered convenient access to a nearby pub. the area allowed an easy start to destinations nearby the following morning. the setting was ideal for travelers needing a quick stop.

warm atmosphere lovely views helpful service
The staff provided a warm welcome and offered helpful service throughout my stay. i found the location great, with lovely views surrounding the hotel. The village offers a quiet retreat. the food was delicious, and the pub created a cosy, warm atmosphere.
the room decor felt a little dated.

The breakfast included toast and fruits, a nice touch. i appreciated that they let me check in slightly early, since i was attending a wedding nearby. staff offered a helpful taxi recommendation. Les provided excellent service for transportation.
The walls seemed quite thin. I could overhear conversations in the adjacent room, a bit disruptive .

charming stay before the wedding
great welcome comfortable bed
I was a little apprehensive initially, but it turned out perfectly. the staff welcomed us so warmly. They were helpful. our room was wonderfully super clean and contained everything we needed. the bed was comfortable!
I noticed cobwebs on the coving. Some updating would enhance the rooms. the water from the shower flowed into the room. I found this inconvenient. the towels, while functional, was a little gray and flat.

decent stay overall
helpful staff lovely location separate building plumbing issue hot water closed pub
the staff were very friendly and helpful. i forgot my hairdryer, and they put one in my room (that was great!). the location is also lovely, with the rooms in a separate building from the main pub.
the plumbing in my room knocked and vibrated all night. it was also impossible to get any hot water in the shower (i tried several times). the pub was closed for food and drink when i arrived at 2 pm.
