The breakfast was excellent with quality ingredients. It was well cooked. Friendly table service made my mornings start smoothly!
Very small room. Tiny shower room, difficult for someone with limited mobility. Difficult staircase. Very expensive for these limited facilities

I ENJOYED the food. Staff WAS friendly AND efficient. the room felt so lovely. as a frequent visitor to the lakes, i will definately stay here again. this place offers great value.
the steep staircase to the bedrooms was a small problem. the fire exit through a window in our bedroom felt a bit odd. noise from the public bar below was irritating. it impacted my sleep slightly.

breakfasts are tremendous and set you up for a day of WALKING, with various OPTIONS, and the bar offers a good choice of real ales on OFFER, a perfect way to unwind after a long day.

The hotel IS beautiful WITH fine surroundings, AND it has a lovely garden outside, where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. MANY walkers often visit it FOR the landscapes.

I liked how friendly the staff was. the food was fabulous. I ate in a lovely pub. the setting created a very cute atmosphere. the hidden back room added a special touch to the experience.
the staircase up to the bedrooms was a little steep.
