a wonderful retreat

easy parkingrestaurant views
the pub had easy parking, a massive convenience. i ALSO relished the restaurant's views, overlooking the common adding a touch of peace to the stay.
i did find the check in awkward, walking through the busy bar, with no clear reception. THE room also had some cleanliness issues like cobwebs.

I found the location lovely. The room was clean. It felt luxurious. Breakfast impressed me. I think it was the best I had in the uk. the staff were helpful. They clearly enjoyed working at this hotel.
The check in felt awkward. There was no dedicated reception area. You had to walk into a busy bar.

The room had a nice balcony, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful . They answered all my questions. The pub and restaurant had a really lovely atmosphere.
The room cleaning was not up to standard . Towels were not changed, and water was not refreshed. The bathroom also was not cleaned, and dirty cups remained there.

i found the pub and restaurant particularly lovely, it offered great views. parking was easy. guests had reserved spaces but street parking was also readily available. the room was comfortable and well equipped with three dyson fans to compensate for the lack of air conditioning.
the service was a little slow during my meal one evening.

the breakfast included fantastic coffee, i definitely recommend it. a pub with a good-sized garden offers relaxation options. the hotel provides free parking right on the hotel and ensures convenient access to public transport.
