a wonderful stay indeed
friendly stafflovely extraspoor design
the staff were friendly and helpful! the room was clean with lovely extras! i enjoyed the excellent breakfast and a delicious evening meal in the restaurant. everything was well maintained
the room we were given was unbearably hot! i turned the heating off, and opened the skylights but it was still over 22 degrees! the duvet was too thick and the night was difficult

The staff provided excellent service with local knowledge. they seemed very helpful with directions to nearby attractions. Bus stop access is across the road! the overall service was friendly and professional.

the room included fresh cookies upon arrival and a selection of tea and coffee! the room design and bathrooms were very nice. there are natural products including dog shampoo provided in the bathroom.

My partner and I enjoyed a dog-friendly environment during our night's stay. Both the pub and rooms welcomed our retriever. We enjoyed delicious food in the pub for dinner and breakfast. The ingredients were AMAZING!!! The bathroom featured a lovely shower and lotions.
The room was quite warm because of the weather, which we knew, but the Dyson fan wasn't quite enough.

The inn offered a good dining experience, with breakfast included in the price and of very good quality. We enjoyed bar snacks one evening. They were so tasty!!! The extended seating area on the terrace made dining even better.

The gardens had many places to sit and enjoy the scenery. I had two excellent meals, one was a roast. The roast beef was the best I have ever tasted. The bed was very comfortable.
I found some staff lacking experience. The room was not cleaned during my 2 night stay! The room felt dark. I bumped my head a few times because of the period features.
