Quiet Stay Near the Moors
comfy bedsgood showercosy space
The cottage upgrade was certainly a welcome surprise. It featured comfy beds. The bathroom included a good shower. My kids appreciated the log burner in the lounge, it made the space quite cosy.
The stairs to the room were a little narrow, something to be aware of with luggage.

The breakfast was good with a good range of choices.
The room was not well kept. I found some cobwebs around the room (definitely not a welcome sight). the tea and coffee supplies were not replenished after the first night. I had to buy my own, quite inconvenient.

basic explanationshower temperature
The brewery tour was a real letdown. I expected to see the actual brewing process in action and sample beers along the way, but it was just a basic explanation of how things work with no samples. (What a waste of time!) I also wasn't happy with the bathroom in my room. The shower temperature was impossible to regulate and jumped between freezing and scalding hot.

we were upgraded to the two bedroom cottage and i found it to be a lovely surprise. the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. comfy beds were provided and there was a fully equipped kitchen for us. we also liked the log burner in the lounge, as it made it very cosy.
i found the breakfast to be good, but the stairs to the rooms are quite a challenge. the guy showed us to our room. i said this was too much for my wife and he gave us a different room. the bathroom has a sloping ceiling and you could bang your head on it.
