superb short stay

the room exceeded my expectations it had local fresh ingredients. the food was great i booked both breakfast and an evening meal. i've booked my next pre-cruise stay again. definitely a hidden gem.
the only thing that was slightly disappointing was that there is no separation from the car park but it wasn't a huge deal.

the location is ideal for exploring the new forest. it provides convenient access to the hythe ferry across to southampton. the hotel offers plenty of car parking arriving by vehicle.

breakfast included lots of choice and good service. i saw the main host frequently, ready to help despite busy times. the restaurant utilizes local and fresh ingredients in its dishes.

the room provided sparkling and still water along with great coffee. plug sockets were conveniently placed throughout the room. high quality furnishings created a great atmosphere with attention to details.

southampton was nearby (it was a quick drive) so the location worked well for my needs. the room felt quite spacious with an comfortable bed. breakfast had great variety, with the cooked options being particularly good.
The bathroom lighting was not very bright. This made shaving a bit difficult.

the staff were generally efficient and friendly . they handled check-in quickly and addressed any questions i had about the area. i received prompt attention during breakfast service each morning.

pub menucomplimentary chocolates
The food was amazing. Breakfasts were filling and their pub menu had some great items. the complimentary chocolates thoughtfully paired with the coffee flavors was such a romantic touch, and i savored every bite.
there was no separation from the car park, though it didn't bother us too much.
