the staff was super kind and helpful, i felt so cared for. the swimming pool was available, i loved swimming under the sky. i enjoyed my english breakfast so much, with its fried bread, it was exquisite.
the room was cold, i shivered a bit at night. the hot water felt lukewarm sometimes, i wished for warmer showers. there were only three pillows, i seemed like i needed more for a good night sleep.

the staff worked hard. they cared about my experience. i returned in 2024. i recommend the breakfast. the food was yummy. the bathroom was relaxing and spacious. i liked the products supplied. the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions.

the hotel is near a village with thatched cottages. It also has wisteria fronted houses. little lanes run throughout the village. the setting created a peaceful escape from the city.

i was a bit disappointed. the room got really cold and the hot water was only lukewarm. at breakfast, the sausages were pale and seemed uncooked, with red inside. i wish they paid more attention to these details.

the room felt quite small (a bit cramped, really) and the shower cubicle was even smaller. i struggled to turn around in it. the pool was covered, so i couldn't swim. i later learned i could have asked for the cover to be removed, but it wasn't offered. so that was disappointing.

The bed was very comfortable and had quality bed linen. The breakfast included tasty items (especially the coffee!). The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was quiet and offered convenient access to nearby attractions.
