the pub downstairs features a lovely fireplace, i noticed. the room (i had a beautiful double room) struck a fine balance between historical decor and modern comfort. the bed was comfortable. i found the staff very friendly and cute during my brief stay.
the room lacked air conditioning (which wasn't a problem , but might be in warmer months).

The restaurant features a beautiful dining room. The menu provided good choices, EVERYTHING was presented well, and the food was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive.
The bar tables were mostly reserved. It made finding a spot for just a drink a little difficult.

Charming Pub Stay

friendly stafflovely interiorfaulty mechanism
I enjoyed lunch with friends yesterday and we shared desserts. All the food tasted very good. The staff was friendly and helpful despite the busy atmosphere. The pub has a lovely interior I was very grateful for.
The toilet flush mechanism in the bathroom didn't function properly. Also the shower tap, namely the hot and cold adjuster, came loose. I hope they can fix this soon.
Location

The hotel offers a convenient location for exploring local attractions. It provides easy access to a nearby winery and coffee roasting house for daytime activities. This setup is great for leisurely outings.

The period hotel includes comfortable seating. The bar area allows dogs inside which is very useful. I appreciated the well equipped rooms too.

Decent Stay

friendly staffbreakfast selectionnoticeable smelldisorganized service
I found the location really nice. The staff was very friendly. They helped me with directions. The breakfast selection was pretty good, I enjoyed the variety they had!
The bathroom had a noticeable smell. I think it smelled like blocked drains. It wasn't the most pleasant experience. The service was a little disorganized on the hotel side. I had to wait in the bar to get checked in when I got there, and that was not ideal,
