The rooms Portland and Bowlease are perfect for families. They each have a dedicated entrance. Portland even includes a small kitchen and a washing machine. This was helpful. The pub offers typical English breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to requests. I really enjoyed the pub food, including pies and burgers.
The road noise was significant, almost like there was no window in place to block the sound. I found it difficult to sleep well due to the constant traffic.

small showercramped room
The room felt quite cramped. It was difficult to move around the bed because of the limited space. The shower was also very small. Someone slightly larger would really struggle to use it. This was a major inconvenience.
