lovely experience
great locationlovely staffclean bedhuge car park
the location was good. the staff were lovely. beds were nice and neat. i found the car park huge and close to the door. i did eat the evening meal which was excellent and served till 9pm fri and sat evening.
the room was very dull and needed freshening up. i noted the carpet needed cleaning. wallpaper was replacing as coming off in areas.

the bed had soft sheets and plenty of pillows. the provided wardrobe was spacious. the tv worked well, with many channels available. i enjoyed the provided tea and coffee making facilities.

the hotel includes a large car park available to all guests. there is a restaurant that serves till late on weekends. i saw secure storage for bicycles was available, a great bonus for cyclists. the building offers a large outdoor area.

the room was well equipped. staff provided assistance, recommending local places to visit. i found the continental breakfast to have a good variety of cereals, fruit, drinks and ham.
on entering the room, i noticed a rough plaster repair job, and damage to the wall. the tv picture was poor and broke up on some channels. i found black mould on the ceiling and grouting in the ensuite. there was no plug in the sink. i experienced paintwork throughout which seemed scruffy.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. my evening meal was lovely. the bed was soft and nice. i will book again (maybe in the summer!).
the tv didn't work, showing no signal, it might need a reset.
