charming boutique experience
superb location peaceful room friendly staff
the staff was very friendly and helpful. the location is superb, with access to nearby restaurants and attractions. i particularly enjoyed the comfortable, quiet room, which ensured a peaceful stay (a real plus for me).
the breakfast service felt slightly disorganized during a busy morning. i waited a bit before someone noticed me.

the bar downstairs provides a cozy atmosphere, with bartenders offering a good selection of cocktails and wines. the hotel also has a lovely parlour, offering additional space to relax, or to read something. there is jazz on thursday nights.

the beautiful king room featured a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a big bath. linens and pillows were great, ensuring a good night's sleep (that's very important). the room felt clean and well kept.

the hotel is situated in a great neighborhood and is very walkable, with lots of sights nearby. the hotel is also close to the tube, which facilitates access to different parts of the city. mayfair is in walking distance.

Victorian Decor AND Helpful Staff
victorian decor helpful staff short walk
The decor was victorian! I found it amazing. Every staff member was helpful and kind. Many coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and casinos, are a short walk away. I really recommend this hotel to future guests.
Some carpets are very worn. They need replacing immediately. I think this needs addressing.

The parlour and bar area provides atmosphere. The hotel has a very warm and homely feel. It is not like a massive chain.

The room was large and comfortable. I had a table and couch. It was very handy for snacks. Map reading was easy thanks to the table.

The location is super. The hotel is close to all the shops. I also found it near the underground station. It is only a five minute walk to Hyde Park.
