the hotel had a lovely spacious room. breakfast was great with professional staff. the location next to the canal was convenient. a quick walk into the city center made it easy to explore.
I had some slight issues with the television remote control. It needed new batteries.

The staff were friendly and efficient upon arrival. I secured reserved parking in advance, convenient. The evening meal was faultless and the breakfast offered a great selection.
The room was a bit small, so moving my suitcase was difficult.

the breakfast was lovely.
the receptionist did not know where the theatre was when i asked for directions. i went to my room from check-in and i could not get in, so i had to get a different room. the room was cold, my phones had not charged for my journey home and i had to shower and change in the dark.

The staff was very pleasant and promptly addressed our requests. Breakfast included abundant options and excellent ingredients. I also appreciated the hotel's traditional English charm and convenient location (everything was within walking distance).
The dessert I ordered one evening was quite disappointing. It was a salted caramel tart that seemed like a cheap, store-bought version. It was placed plainly on a large plate with a scoop of ice cream and no chocolate crumb.
